Reminder: The Junior Class is selling “Ranger Country” yard signs. I’ve seen a few around the area. They look really nice! Help us spread our “Ranger Spirit” throughout the district. The Consumer Education class is having guest speakers connected to the students' career interest. On Friday, Brent Miller virtually visited with the class to talk about farming, teaching, and running a business. Thank you, Brent, for taking the time out of your day to share your experiences.
The SIU Credit Union's 2021 Scholarship Program application is available at www.siucu.org/about/scholarship. Applications are due no later than Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Scholarship winners will be announced in May 2021.
The Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois teacher preparation and program is accepting applications from high school seniors until April 1, 2021. This program provides aspiring teachers with tuition assistance, academic and social-emotional supports, job placement assistance after college and mentoring during the first two years of teaching. The 2021 IAA Foundation Scholarship Application Period is NOW OPEN! The lineup includes 78 scholarships totaling $124,000 in tuition support.
