This is National Bus Safety Week. We would like to thank our amazing bus drivers for everything you do. We would also like to thank Eric Robinson and Tina Williamson from Robinson Transport in Metropolis for taking great care of our students.

Technology helps to bring us together.
Maple Grove’s Fourth Grade Class hosted a virtual visit with Murray State University student, Lindsey Hargitt, today using our new webcam.
We are currently studying the regions of the United States. She shared a book with us about our country entitled, “What are the U.S. Regions?”.
We were excited to learn that in fact, Ms. Hargitt read to us from a different region of our country that we are located in. The state of Illinois is located in the Middle West. Kentucky, home of MSU, is located in the Southeast.
We would like to express our gratitude to both Ms. Hargitt and Murray State University’s Alpha Upsilon Alpha Honor Society for sharing with us.
