Next week, an important window of opportunity opens for every school across the state. It’s the opening of our annual Illinois 5Essentials Survey – the tool that provides a voice for all teachers, parents, and fourth- through 12th-grade students to tell administrators what’s working and what needs improvement. This year, the survey is open Jan. 23-March 29. We will be hosting an evening for all parents to come in to the school to complete the survey. Students and staff will complete the survey at school.

Good morning everyone! Unfortunately the roads are not safe and it is only going to get colder, so we are cancelling school again today. The safety of our school community is our priority and at this time, we feel it is best that we stay home today. Please stay warm.

Joppa-Maple Grove Beta Club partnered with Educators Rising to host a food drive for our local food pantry at Joppa Missionary Baptist Church. Students brought in nonperishable and toiletry items to restock the food pantry. Several Elementary Beta Members got to count cans and determine the winner today. Congratulations to Maple Grove 6th Grade and JHS juniors for bringing in the most items! We filled 3 cars with the many donations from our community. Thank you for your continuous support of both our schools and our community.
