This training will provide individuals with a general understanding of professionalism, curriculum, and classroom management techniques, school safety, and district/building operations.  This training is required for individuals wishing to obtain a Short-Term Substitute License.

Registration Fee $20.00 (To secure your spot, payment is required before the session)

Registration includes:

• On-site assistance for the sub-license and application process

• Short-Term Substitute Training (9:00 am-12:00 pm)

• Q&A time

• Complimentary fingerprinting for individuals going on the ROE #21 Sublist (original cost $55.00)*

AND A DELICIOUS SUB SANDWICH LUNCH!

Requirements for the STS License

• Individual must hold an Associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution

OR

• Have completed 60 hours of college coursework. (Coursework must be at the 100-level or higher, fro​m a regionally accredited college or university)
  

• The application fee for the Short-Term Substitute license is $25.00 (fee may be refunded after 10 days of working). 

• The license is valid for substitute teaching in all grades PreK-12.

• Individuals may not teach more than 15 consecutive days per licensed teacher.

Requirements for a Substitute License

• An individual must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution
  

• The application fee for a substitute license is $50.00 (the fee may be refunded after 10 days of working). 

• The license is valid for substitute teaching in all grades, PreK-12.

Prior to attending the Subs for Subs Event, please ensure you have completed the following steps:

•  Paid in full for the Subs for Subs event ($20) to secure your spot

• Created an ELIS account (https://apps.isbe.net/iwasnet/login.aspx)

• Submit official college transcripts in a sealed envelope to 502 W Jackson Street, Marion, IL 62959, or via e-script to licensure@roe21.org

Cancellation Policy: There will be no refunds issued for workshops, trainings, or Administrator Academies unless cancelled by ROE #21.
